Fees for basic notarial acts-

as set by Washington State*

Witnessing or attesting a signature - $10
Taking an acknowledgment or a verification upon oath or affirmation - $10
Certifying or attesting a copy - $10
Administering an oath or affirmation - $10
Certifying that an event has occurred or an act has been performed - $10
Remote Online Notarizations - $25

* Effective 6/22/24, WA state increased the maximums that a notary may charge for notarial acts to $15/ $25 for RON. WAC 308-30-220. The Lazy Unicorn Notary has elected to keep pricing at $10/ $25 until posted otherwise.

Travel Fees

All travel fees are in addition to the cost of the notarization. Let’s chat when booking to ensure the cost works for both of us!

Meet-Up Locations (Milton/Edgewood Pierce County Library or Surprise Lake Square Safeway): $0 travel fee.
- Convenient and cost-free for clients willing to meet at designated locations close to our Milton base.
Tiered Travel Fees for In-Person Appointments:
- 0–5 miles: $10 flat fee
- 6–10 miles: $15 flat fee
- 11–20 miles: $20 flat fee
- 20+ miles: $25 flat fee + $0.50 per mile beyond 20 miles
